Philosophy and Approach
We believe holistic coaching is necessary to develop an understanding of nutrition needs, learning hunger cues, and coping with changes to your body without deprivation. While the end goal of fitness coaching is to transition to intuitive, mindful eating habits, we recognize the need for other methods of coaching such as macronutrient tracking as a tool to learn the relationship between serving size portions and estimations. While we are advocates for the flexible dieting lifestyle, we also believe that food should nourish your body, provide vital phytonutrients and micronutrients, but also be pleasurable and include treats. Notice we didn’t say cheats! Cheating implies that you should feel guilty about the food you eat and that should never be the case.
Our philosophy is balance. It’s sometimes eating the salad and other times eating the tacos. Our philosophy isn’t labeling foods healthy or bad but our motto is it may it be bad for you, but is it good for you? Our programs are designed to help you find peace with food and your body while becoming the best YOU that you can be.
What to Expect
All of our amazing programming is done online via our app. A traditional personal trainer charges any where from $60-$100 per 30 minute session. That $240-$400 a month! Our programs are designed to give you a motivational experience with access to us outside of your traditional 30 minute training window with feedback and check-ins. Once you have chosen the plan you would like to sign up for, visit our plans page to sign up. You will then receive an intake form that will gather information about your current fitness and nutrition habits, your goals, and history. All custom plans will be delivered to the client via our app within 48 hours of receiving the forms back via our firstname.lastname@example.org email address. All custom programs are 4 weeks long and include check-ins (to be determined by your coach).
If you have signed up for a Wellness Package, you will receive an email to set up your session. Each session is 40 minutes in length.
Jen has spent years trying to find a balance between being fit and enjoying food and fun with family. She has helped hundreds of women reach their fitness goals. Her experience working out throughout her pregnancy inspired her to obtain a specialist certification in Pre and Post Natal Corrective Exercise from Fit For Birth. During her post partum period, she struggled with diastasis and pelvic floor disfunction, and after working to correct this while trying to lose baby weight and breastfeed, it became her passion to help new moms during their postpartum period and inspired her to begin a certification program in Diastasis and Core Consulting.
Jen has helped hundreds of clients in different seasons of life; students, moms, soon-to-be moms, wives, career women, runners, lifters, yogis, etc. She is passionate about helping women find a balance between fitness, nutrition, and life. A little bit of protein, a little bit of veggies, and a side of margaritas! Because Balance!
Sarah Robinson, CPT
Sarah is extremely passionate about helping individuals achieve their fitness goals. Her goal is to help facilitate a positive life changing impact for her clients, friends, family, and as many people as she can reach. Sarah is dedicated to providing fitness programs that educate clients on achieving a healthy lifestyle, stay motivated and committed to their fitness goals. Sarah is pursuing a Bachelor of Exercise Science.
